SES London 2011: a jolly good time
Written by Alison Groves and published
We just returned from a week in London for Search Engine Strategies. (And by “just returned”, I mean our booth literally was just returned to our doorstep not an hour ago. It had a hard time clearing customs. Ouch.)
The conference turned out to be an action packed few days of meeting current Raven users, and talking with plenty of new folks as well. We had no idea what to expect going into a different country for the first time, but everyone who took the time to stop and speak with us was extraordinarily kind. It was a true pleasure chatting with every single person—especially putting faces to names of customers we have gotten to know by e-mail or Twitter.
Not only did we have a jam packed two days of meet-and-greet booth time, we also had the pleasure of sponsoring the SES London Networking party thrown by the lovely SEO Chicks. The party took place on the HMS President, which Foursquare told me was built in 1918. It had a quirky little floor tilt, but after we added a few hundred of our closest conference attendees, who noticed? A thousand thanks to everyone who stopped by and shared a few pints with us.
It was so nice to meet you all. We hope to see you right back there next year.
