You asked for it and we’ve delivered: Google Shopping campaigns are now supported in Raven’s Google AdWords tool. You can find this in your account by navigating to PPC > AdWords Metrics and seeking out the Shopping section.
All of your active Google Shopping campaigns will show up in this listing and, as with just about everything in Raven Tools, you can create fabulous marketing reports in Report Wizard.
What’s Google Shopping?
Just about a year ago, Google announced they were phasing out Product Listing Ads (PLAs) and replacing them with Google Shopping campaigns. These new Shopping campaigns dramatically simplify the product advertising process, which had previously been much more complicated than most marketers really needed.
Simpler campaign set up means better targeting and easier reporting. What could possibly go wrong?
The only problem was that Google’s AdWords API, which we use to bring you all of the PPC data in Raven, didn’t support Shopping campaigns until their latest and greatest version. Once we upgraded to the new version, all of that data on your Shopping ads came within our reach.
How Do I Get Started?
Once you’ve added Google Shopping campaigns to your account through Google AdWords, you can view their data by navigating to PPC > AdWords Metrics > Shopping. To report on this data, simply add the Shopping reporting module under the Google AdWords section.
