RavenHunt is an online scavenger hunt where you’ll have to solve a series of puzzles in order to win elite Raven Tools swag and prizes. RavenHunt works in correlation with top industry blogs to provide you with hints to find the next clue. Each game spans one workweek and the first 10 players to catch the Raven win!
What’s up for grabs this month? The top prize you’ll be playing for is the new Apple iPad and a 1 year Pro subscription to Raven. Some of our good friends are sweetening the prize pot. Get ready because the first clue will be released on Raven’s Facebook fan page on March 29th at 11am EST. We’ll also be releasing hints throughout the week on Raven’s Twitter page, so be sure to give us a follow so you can stay ahead of the competition!
Monitor the Raven Twitter and Facebook fan page for mission clues. Clues will begin being released on a random Monday during the month. When the first clue is announced you’ll be given the name of the blog the next clue is hidden within, along with a riddle which you’ll need to solve in order to know where to look on the blog to find the next clue. If you find the next clue you’ll be given the name of the next site that the next clue is hidden within, along with a letter that you’ll want to make sure you hold on to for later.
You'll also be required to tweet a specific message that will trigger the Raven Tools Twitter account to DM you the second clue for that day. Be sure to follow the Raven Tools Twitter account so we can send you the DM. There are a total of two clues you must solve each day.
On Tuesday we’ll release the next clue, but it will not contain the name of the blog the next clue is hidden on. If you were unable to find the previous day’s clue it is still possible to find the next clue, you’ll just have to work a little harder for it. Additionally, you'll need to tweet a specific message to trigger the Raven Tools Twitter account to DM you the second clue for that day.
As the week progresses the clues will get more and more difficult. Because prizes are limited it’s in your best interest not to share where clue are hidden. You can still brag about finding that day’s clue by tweeting and posting to Raven’s fan page. Be sure to tag your tweets with #RavenHunt.

The Contest: For one five day period, Sitening, LLC will promote, by means of an online scavenger hunt the opportunity to submit entries to win a grand prize.
Eligibility: In order to submit entries, you must be 18 years of age or older. Only one entry per person, per household. Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for Sitening, LLC or any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the contest or supplying the prize, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, stepparents, children, stepchildren, siblings, stepsiblings, or spouses. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months in one calendar year.
How to enter: Find the final clue on the Friday following the start of the contest and send an email with the key phrase to the specified email address. All entries become the property of Sitening, LLC and will not be returned and may be used by Sitening, LLC for any purpose and in any media in perpetuity.
How to win: The Grand Prize winner will be selected according to the Scavenger Hunt rules on or about the Monday following the end of the contest. In the event that the original Grand Prize winner does not meet Official Rules or eligibility requirements, or he/she or parent or legal guardian forfeits the Grand Prize, Sitening, LLC will award prize to first alternate. Process will continue until Grand Prize is awarded.
All entries must be received on or before midnight on the Friday following the start of the contest. Decision of the judges and Sitening, LLC is final. The grand Prize winner will be notified by e-mail and must meet all eligibility requirements.
By entering, each contestant agrees to be bound by the rules. Sitening, LLC, its promotional agents and contest co-sponsors are not responsible for lost, delayed or misdirected, busy phone signals, or incomplete entries.
Prizes: One Grand Prize winner will receive one Flip MinoHD 120 min camera, a one year Pro subscription to Raven Internet Marketing Tools, and a RavenHunt official t-shirt. Approximate total value of the grand prize is $1,424.99. One Second Place winner will receive a six month subscription to Raven Internet Marketing Tools and an official RavenHunt t-shirt. Eight runner-up Prize winner(s) will each receive an official RavenHunt t-shirt.
The Prizes are non-transferable. There may be no cash or other substitutions of prizes by winner. However, Sitening, LLC reserves the right to substitute similar prizes of equal or greater value in the event the above prize is unavailable for any reason. Individual, parent or legal guardian of winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes with respect to entire prize.
Winner or Parent or legal guardian of Grand Prize winner must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Indemnification Form ("the Form") that : a) releases, indemnifies and holds harmless Sitening, LLC its parent, affiliated, subsidiary and successor companies, and its respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives, advertising agencies and promotional sponsors (collectively the "Release") from and against any and all harm, expense, liability or injury that may be sustained relating to or arising from participation in the contest or acceptance or use of the prize; and b) authorizes the Releasee to use the winners' names, likenesses, photographs, voices and biographical data for any purpose, in any media, unless prohibited by law.
Prize will not be released until Sitening, LLC receives all required documents. Failure of Grand Prize winner to return the Form within the required timeframe will result in automatic forfeiture of any prizes and all such prizes shall be awarded to an alternate winner. In the event of a prize forfeiture, the winner or parent or legal guardian of the winner forfeiting prize will sign a Prize Forfeit Form and return to Sitening, LLC within ten (10) days of receiving the Form.
Unforeseen Events: Sitening, LLC reserves the right to change this contest at its sole discretion at any time that Sitening, LLC become aware of any circumstances or occurrence which would materially affect the contest security or fairness. Sitening, LLC reserves the right to announce any contest rules changes over the Internet. Sitening, LLC is not responsible for the inability of the winner to accept the prize for any reason.
