Authorizing Google Analytics

Raven integrates with Google Analytics for most metrics. You must be an authorized Admin on a Google Analytics account to authorize it in Raven.

Google Analytics configuration

You can configure Google Analytics settings to show advanced data for goals, campaign sources and Google AdWords data (see below for details about AdWords).

Raven can also automatically import new referring website into Link Manager for further research.

Twitter analytics

Raven includes traditional Twitter metrics for tweets, mentions and connections. Twitter Metrics also includes traffic to the website referred by Twitter as well as related Google Analytics goal conversions.

Raven provides two other Twitter metrics:

  • Replies Reach – the maximum number of users who could see a reply to a Twitter account authorized in Raven
  • Retweet Reach – the maximum number of users who could see a retweet of a tweet by an account authorized in Raven

Facebook analytics

Raven includes all the data from Facebook Insights. Facebook Metrics also includes traffic to the website referred by Facebook as well as related Google Analytics goal conversions.

Facebook has imposed limits of 90 days for its metric data. Raven cannot report on more than a 90-day timeframe in metrics and any associated reports.

YouTube analytics

You can track advanced metrics for up to 10 YouTube videos, including view, subscribers and traffic referred by YouTube.

Google AdWords

AdWords data is available through Google Analytics. Google AdWords metrics allow you to see:

  • Summary – Impressions, Cost, Avg. CPM, CTR, Clicks, Avg. CPC, Cost/Conversion, ROAS Spend, RPC.
  • Campaign performance – Visits, Cost, CPM, RPC, CTR, ROAS, Clicks and CPC

Raven will read campaign variable from PPC campaigns even if you have not authorized an AdWords account.

Email

You can authorize your Campaign Monitor and MailChimp accounts in Raven. Raven uses campaign variables to show traffic and Google Analytics goal conversions.

You must have the API key to authorize accounts.
