How Raven stores data

Raven stores all account data in a bucket called “website.” The data includes keywords, links, social media profiles, etc. Websites are one way of separating data.

A “profile” includes one or more website. Profiles function much like folders. Most customer uses profiles to keep client, team or project work separate. You can also manage access permissions by using profiles.

A website can only be in one profile. You can move a website to a different profile.

Managing users

Raven includes two classes of users:

• Sub-users can edit and change data (depending upon permissions).
• Read-only users can only see data (depending upon permissions).

You can assign user access by profile.

The number of authorized sub-users depends on the account plan. Every account includes an unlimited number of read-only users.

Managing roles

Roles determine what users can see and do once they have access. Your account includes both sub-user and read-only roles.

You can assign roles by profile depending on the work that users need to peform.

Tasks

You can assign task to your team through Raven. The task function is integrated into many of the individual tools, such as Social Stream and Link Manager, for easy management.

Messages

You can send messages to your team via Raven. The message function much like email.

In addition, Raven will send messages for certain account alerts, such as link monitoring. Those alerts will appear in messages.
