Why Cabedge loves Raven Tools

Raven Internet Marketing Tools has a happy home on Music Row in Nashville. By “home” I mean, literally, a home, just like many of the businesses on Music Row. There’s a creepy basement and a unisex bathroom with a medicine cabinet and an orange tabby that naps in the gravel parking lot.

Cabedge
Howdy, neighbors!

There are also neighbors.

One of those neighbors is Cabedge, a communications company that’s been using Raven Internet Marketing Tools for two years. We admire their sophisticated style, modern code and clear content. Plus, “they’re just nice people,” says Jon Henshaw, Raven Tools product manager. So when we asked Cabedge Director of Communications Sam Owens a few questions, she was more than happy to answer.

Which Raven tool do you use most often?
We use Raven’s Twitter Monitor and report each month to our clients. As social media becomes a bigger and bigger part of PR services, we need a tool that allows us to make social media as tangible as possible. Raven allows us to put actual numbers and stats to Twitter that make sense to our clients. To simply send the follower update that Twitter gives you is doing your client a disservice. Being able to show them your growth from month to month and by quarter truly states whether or not you are doing your job for them.

Sam Owens of Cabedge
Sam Owens has two titles at Cabedge: Director of Communications and salad spinner. Honest.

Which Raven tool saves you the most time or money?
Definitely the Report Wizard as we can set it to deliver our reports to us each month.

What other software do you use for internet marketing?
Cision Point, Lexis Nexis, HootSuite, Twitterfollower, Twittergrader, Google AdWords.

Do you have any secret ninja tricks with Raven Tools?
I wish I had ninja tricks in general. ;-)

How long did it take you to become a Raven Tools whiz?
I don’t think we are yet. There are so many other things that we could do within Raven.

In which we get personal

PR for a resort in Hawaii or the Caribbean would be amazing. I would assume that in order to do an effective job, you’d be required to live there and spend time in their best suites :)
