Microsoft, Yahoo! Talking to Avoid Hostile Proxy Fight
According to the Wall Street Journal, Microsoft and Yahoo! have all of a sudden become bosom buddies and are holding talks. The talks are in an attempt to try and avoid the mano et mano hostile boardroom takeover. Yahoo! however has not been keeping the status-quo. An announcement is expected to happen within the not too distant future over a deal to incorporate Google AdWords into its search results.
Google Dominates UK Internet Traffic
Hitwise this week released some interesting findings regarding internet traffic in the UK – approximately one third of all UK internet traffic comes from Google websites.
