Kl.am API

People use Twitter in a vast variety of ways, and one of the more popular is pulling your blog’s RSS feed to it so that your followers can easily see when you have an updated blog post. But wouldn’t you like to track that traffic as well? See what kind of headlines grab attention, what doesn’t work, etc. Popular service Twitterfeed now includes kl.am integration so you can do just that.
When you sign up for Twitterfeed, you’re given a basic screen to input your Twitter information, as well as information for the feed of your blog or news page:

However, if you click on the advanced settings tab pulls down a whole host of options, including choosing the URL shortener of your choice:

If you choose kl.am, it will ask for your API key, which can be found under your account tab in kl.am:

Once you input your kl.am API key and create the feed, every link you generate through Twitterfeed will then be found in your kl.am account with stats. It’s as simple as that! We’re also working on a way to integrate all of this with white labeled URL shorteners. Stay tuned for more info on that.
