Most Web designers have experienced the frustration of designing their website in Photoshop, and then having it output different colors when they save it as PNGs or JPEGs. The problem is related to the default color profile in Photoshop. In order to maintain the correct color, you need to do the following steps in Photoshop.

1. From the menu, click on Edit and then Color Settings…
2. Click on the Settings drop down menu and select North America Web/Internet, then click on the OK button

Now, when you save images with Save for Web & Devices, the color should be outputted correctly.
