How to Create A Branded Report From Anywhere in Raven
I think that we all can agree that generating a report in Raven is pretty easy.
When it comes to compiling a report, the Report Wizard is definitively a time saver. And no matter where you are in Raven, you can simply click the Create PDF or Save to PDF option for a quick report of just the data you’re working with.
Did you know that you can generate those quick reports with your own logo?
It’s simple to get rid of the Raven logo and replace it with a custom, branded report you can generate from anywhere in Raven. All you have to do is create a Report Template (Reports > Report Templates). If you have not yet created one, here are the steps:
1. Navigate to Reports > Report Templates.
2. Click the Create a New Template button at the top right of the page.
3. Fill in all the information.
Name: This is a required field. Simply add a name that will identify you brand template easily.
Availability: Report Templates can be made available on three different scopes. Website (just for only one website), Profile (for all the websites you have under a profile) and Global (for the entire account, all profiles and websites).
Upload a Logo: Upload the logo that you would like to show on your reports. We support JPG, PNG and EPS. Non-transparent, high-resolution, horizontal images work best.
If you prefer, you can add text instead of your logo and fill in line #1 and line #2 with text. Here is how it would look like.
Top Bar: Change the color of the bar displayed at the top of the report.
Top Bar Text: Change the text shown on the top bar.
Footer Text: If you would you to include any text at the footer of your report, you can do so here.
Save your work and you have set up your brand template! If you would like it to be used on all your in-tool reports, click the gear icon next to it and select Make Default from the drop-down menu.
If you ever want to change your brand template default to a different template, just follow the same steps to make your template a default but instead select Unset Default from the drop-down menu.
