Did you know? Create faster bookmarks in Raven
Bookmarking a page for a particular website and profile in Raven is handy if you’re viewing the same pages on a regular basis or if you want to skip searching through a long list of websites for the domain you’re managing.
But if you simply click the bookmark star in Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, the newly-created bookmark will lead to the SERP Tracker page of your default website – not necessarily the profile or website you were looking at.
There is, however, a way around this. The trick here is to add profile and website information into your bookmarked URL so that Raven automatically switches to the correct profile and website. How do you do that? With Contextual Messages. Here are the four steps.
1. Create subaccount
In order to access Contextual Messages, you must have at least one subaccount set up in User Manager. Otherwise, Contextual Messages will give you an error screen, saying that you have no recipients for the message.
If you do not have a user set up, navigate to System Preferences > User Manager and add a new subaccount.
2. Navigate to the page
Now that you’ve ensured that you have access to Contextual Messages, navigate to the page that you would like to bookmark, making sure that you’re in the right Profile and Website.
3. Click Contextual Messages
Instead of bookmarking this page, click the Contextual Messages icon in the Support Icons bar.
On this page, look for the “Link” sentence at the bottom, beginning with “in reference to.” Notice the link?

4. Copy and bookmark
Right-click this link (which should include the phrase “?switch_domain_id=NUMBER&go=RAVENURL”) to copy it, then paste it into your Bookmark Manager.
That’s all there is to it. You now have a link that will switch the domain automatically and go to the URL of your choice.
